The welcoming charm of the château and its beautiful grounds, together with a wide range of locations and the thorough, professional and friendly service we can provide are the reasons we believe makes us one of the premier wedding locations in France.
A FAMILY AFFAIR.
Our aim is to offer a very 'family' friendly feel to the events. We don't do things behind closed doors or have areas of the chateau where guests are not supposed to be. We encourage the mothers to come into the kitchen and help with the flowers or to trim the haricot vert over a glass of wine (they always need something to do). We don't have a wedding 'formula' that we insist on but do have a style that we thinks works well in our environment. The look is very much French country but with a cosmopolitan twist here and there, lots of attention to detail and utilising the best of what we have on our doorsteps - wild flowers, fabulous produce etc.

THE PERFECT SETTING
We can hold weddings all year round but our peak season is during the spring, from the end of April up to June, and in the autumn from September to mid October. During spring the chateau grounds burst into life with the fresh green of the leaves, daffodils, irises and the first flush of the roses - everything combines to make a magnificent backdrop to your big day. By mid May and June the weather is warm late into the evening which makes it perfect for eating under the stars. September is equally beautiful with a gentle end to the summer heat and the beginnings of the glorious autumn colours all around.
CHOICE OF LOCATIONS
If you are planning a large celebration, the maximum number of guests we can cater for is 120. We have a choice of locations for the wedding meal. The grand salon can seat up to 50 people and the courtyard, and our newly refurbished vaulted cellars can accommodate up to 120 people comfortably.
Under the shady chestnut trees, the courtyard is the perfect place for a romnatic ceremony.
The back terrace with it's views down the valley is perfect for ceremonies or drinks reception.
The beautiful grand salon with it's double doors opening to the courtyard and terrace can seat 50 for a wedding meal.
The atmospheric chateau cellars can easily fit up to 120 guests for a wedding meal and evening party.
WEDDING PLANNING SERIVCE
As well as offering you a stunning venue for your day, we can also help to plan every aspect of your wedding; from organising the ceremony to arranging music, flowers, transport, and the catering. All you have to do is to concentrate on looking your best and enjoying the day. It is worth noting that to hold an official civil marriage ceremony in France, you need to have been resident in the country for at least 40 days before the wedding date. However, most people choose to have a blessing ceremony on the premises conducted by a local English speaking pastor or by a family friend or relative.
CHOICE OF LOCAL ACCOMMODATION
You could choose to just fill the chateau with your closest family and friends. We can sleep up to 24 and if you need more rooms close by we have a neighbour, situated directly across the road from us, who takes guests for bed and breakfast in her farmhouse. We also have lists of recommended local hotels, self-catering gites and bed and breakfast locations for those not staying at the chateau. We can organise coaches to collect everyone and return them back to the hotels at the end of the night.
USING LOCAL SUPPLIERS
We have been holding weddings here, with great success, since 2005 and in that time we have built up a network of local suppliers and helpers that we call on for each event. We don’t have a wedding ‘formula’ that we insist on but do have a style that we think works well in this environment. The look is very much French country but with a cosmopolitan twist here and there, lots of attention to detail, utilising the best of what we have on our doorstep - wild flowers, fabulous produce, wonderful local musicians, photographers and other artisans..
