what we provide
Our aim is not to be an hotel as such but a very high quality, stylish yet relaxing space for private holidays, parties, weddings and other events. The size and location of the property lends itself to a range of year-round activities. From June to September it is the perfect venue for fabulous lazy summer holidays with family and friends. Spring and Autumn are both ideal for weekend breaks, weddings, parties, activity courses and corporate workshops. The wonderful interiors, cosy fires and comfortable sofas make Lartigolle ideal for a winter hideaway.
Château de Lartigolle is perfectly suited to accommodate and entertain families or groups of guests of up to 24 people. Our aim is to provide visitors with the privacy and comfort of a beautiful, private chateau but with a discreet and attentive service that allows everyone to relax.
We offer a number of different service levels that can be tailored to the different needs of our guests.
• We do it all: For short breaks and special events, with two resident chefs we can provide a full catering service with freshly prepared breakfasts and three course evening meals served every day.
For longer breaks of a week or more we offer three different service levels:
• You do it all: For summer holidays the château can be all yours for as long as you like. As we live here we will be around to help if you need us and to give the château a full clean and linen change at the end of each week but otherwise we will leave you to get on with it.
• A daily helping hand: If your idea of a holiday is not doing too much housework, then we can organise a daily housekeeping service. The service includes collecting fresh baguettes and croissants for breakfast, cleaning the kitchens, tidying the main château rooms, making beds and cleaning bathrooms on a daily basis.
• Your own personal chefs: Our final offer is for our two in-house chefs to serve delicious, freshly cooked, three-course evening meals. The quality and inventiveness of our menus has been praised by all who visit. The service is tailored to your personal likes and dislikes and prepared with fresh ingredients from the local producers and our own vegetable garden complimented by our wine list featuring the best of the regional wines.
The château can also be hired for larger events such as birthday parties, anniversaries or corporate functions. During the fine weather (usually from April through to the middle of October) we can use the courtyard for dining where we can easily accommodate up to 100 people. During the colder weather, the grand salon can be turned into a large elegant dining room capable of holding up to 60 diners.
