Summer is when you can experience château life for yourself. You can hire the entire property for your family or group of friends for a wonderful holiday together. We have a number of options to help make your time here more relaxing, from a daily housekeeping service to our in-house chefs catering for your evening meals.
Summer holidays are when the château comes into its own. The place has something for everyone. For children we have a tailor made lounge full of toys, baby-foot and a TV/DVD system, as well as a studio dorm which can sleep up to six children. The 22 acres of grounds offer plenty of space to play, with a tennis court, a separate area for other games and a 16m swimming pool. You can play table tennis and boules within the main courtyard. If you are feeling even more active then we can arrange horse-riding, quad-biking, tree top adventure parks, water parks, canoeing, and rafting which are all close by.
For adults, the château offers elegant and extremely comfortable bedrooms, while downstairs we have two beautiful lounges, a snooker room, with full size table, and a library to escape to when it all gets too much. The swimming pool and surrounding deck are the perfect sun trap. Perched on the side of the hill this area offers beautiful views down the valley, and the gardens offer plenty of space to find a quiet corner to read or have a gentle snooze.
You can choose the style of summer holiday to suit your needs. To help we have defined three service levels for you to choose from.
• Do it all yourself: The château is all yours for as long as you like. As we live here we will be around to help if you need us and to give the château a full clean and linen change at the end of each week but otherwise we will leave you to get on with it.
• A daily helping hand: If your idea of a holiday is not doing too much housework then, we can organise for a daily housekeeping service. The service includes collecting fresh baguettes and croissants for breakfast, cleaning the kitchen, tidying the main château rooms, making beds and cleaning bathrooms on a daily basis.
• Your own personal chefs: Our final offer is for our two in-house chefs to serve delicious, freshly cooked, three-course evening meals. The quality and inventiveness of our menus has been praised by all who visit. The service is tailored to your personal likes and dislikes and prepared with fresh ingredients from the local producers and our own vegetable garden.
