Visitors' book
The words of others will often be far more insightful than anything we
can say about ourselves. Take a look at some of the entries in our visitors’
book and see what others think about Lartigolle...
It's a bloomin' marvellous building but you've transformed it into something
amazing. You’ve taken yourselves well and truly into Babington House/Hip
Hotel land. Same feelings about the food - it really was exceptional. Always
surprising
(without getting wierd), it really was 5-star quality.
John Townshend, Creative Director, Rapier
It was a truly unfortgettable party, perfect in every way. I will never
forget walking through the gates of Lartigolle, seeing the house lit up so
beautifully. Your house was the star of the night.
Jeremy Grose, Operations Director, Charles Taylor and Co Ltd
A spectacular Château, imaginatively and exquisitely renovated, Lartigolle is like staying at a private house party without once ever feeling you have to offer to help with the washing up.
Jim Thornton, Executive Creative Director, Leo Burnett
Thank you so so much for making us all so welcome and for making the client trip such a memorable one for everyone. I am leaving at least half a stone heavier - I have never eaten so well!
Anna Pennington, Head of Sponsorship and Promotion, Capital Radio plc
Your château is such a lovely place. The setting is beautiful and the house
itself is such a dream. By day we have enjoyed short trips out as well as
long sessions by the pool. Evenings have been something special enjoying
your lovely menus and wine selection. The service and presentation of your
food is second to none.

And in the press...
They styled the château in the very now mix of old and new, the decor made up of designer furniture from their previous home, high street shops and antique shops. Just six months later, they threw open the gates and so far, it's so good, with plenty of bookings, including the christening for the mayor's neice and photoshoots.

We adults indulged in make-believe that this really was our home, (the owners encourage this enjoyable fantasy during your stay). This was child heaven too. A tennis court, snooker table, cable tv, swimming pool, and day-trips to the mountains or coast kept our tribe amused. We were three families with a total of seven children ranging in age from six months to 14 years. All took to chateau life without a murmer.
