The château offers extremely elegant, stylish and comfortable bedrooms with beautiful lounges to escape to when it all gets too much. With two resident chefs, we can serve delicious freshly made food everyday so you won’t have to lift a finger. There is plenty of space to play within the beautiful grounds and with a tennis court, table tennis, trampoline and a 16m swimming pool, you won’t have to worry about keeping everybody happy.
In the main château we have five large double bedrooms all en-suite, and one extensive ‘family’ bedroom with a large double and two single beds (this has an en-suite bath and shower). Some of the double bedrooms are large enough to fit additional single beds into, if required, and all are finished to a very high standard.
We also have a large studio room that has one double and four single beds with an en-suite bathroom. The wing has two smaller but very comfortable double bedrooms. One is an en-suite and the second has a sink and shower in the room and a lavatory in the corridor.
The chateau can sleep between 18-22 depending on the room configurations. A room planning document is available in the download point on the right.

OUR SEASONS
We are open for holidays and events all year round, including Christmas or New Year. However, there are quieter times of the year where we will close if we have no bookings.
We split our year into the following seasons:
● The peak summer season is July and August where the minimum booking period is one week, usually from Saturday to Saturday. Because of the Saturday start and finish it does make it difficult to hold weekend weddings in July and August.
● Weddings and other events tend to be held in the spring (Late April, May, June) or autumn (September and early October) months.
● During these periods the majority of the bookings we take are for sole occupancy of the entire chateau for a minimum of three nights.
● During the rest of the year we can cater for sole occupancy bookings for a minimum of two nights or
individual room bookings based on a nightly room rate.
We normally plan to be open for either Christmas or New Year depending on demand.
OUR RATES
As most of our guests come in groups that take sole occupancy of the property, we charge a set price per week during the peak seasons or per night during the rest of the year.
SOLE OCCUPANCY: Prices start from 2,100 Euros per night during the low season (minimum booking 3 nights) and reach 15,000 Euros per week during the high season (minimum booking 7 nights) but they do vary during the year. Email us with your preferred dates, the number of guests and the type of service that you require and we will put together a detailed quote for you.
INDIVIDUAL BEDROOMS: Due to the number of sole occupancy booking we have it is difficult to offer individual bedrooms. We can occassionally offer the outside the peak season but it will depend on availability. Prices for a luxury en-suite double bedroom in the main château start at 250 Euros per night.
SAUVETERRE EXEAT WEEKENDS: We have agreed a special rate for parents and their children wishing to stay for designated exeat weekends. Please email us for details.
WEDDINGS: Pricing for weddings are on request only and comprise of sole occupancy accommodation for three nights (our minimum booking for a wedding) together with a location and equipment hire fee and our wedding planning service. For an intial estimate please email us with your preferred wedding dates and number of guests.
CATERING OR SELF-CATERING?
With two resident chefs we can offer as little or as much catering as you need. During the peak season, when families take over the château for summer holidays, many often wish to take advantage of our fabulous huge kitchen and the wonderful local produce by catering for themselves. However, if you want total relaxation, we can take over and produce breakfast and three course evening meals for you. Most people tend to have a little of both. We don’t normally do lunches unless it is for a special event.
